During the reporting period, UNAMA recorded at least four instances of reprisals against individuals, including women and media workers, for their cooperation with the United Nations. Three of these cases involved arbitrary detentions by Afghanistan’s de facto authorities, for a variety of reasons, including participating in events supported by the United Nations and sharing information with the United Nations.
