The Working Group expressed serious concern at the safety and well-being of the individual and requested the Government, as a matter of urgency, to investigate the allegations and ensure that no detainees would be subjected to harm, threats, harassment or punishment for being in contact with the Working Group. At the time of writing the Government had not responded to the Working Group’s urgent appeal.
