Mr. Mohammad Seifzadeh, a human rights lawyer, was summoned to serve a oneyear prison sentence following his conviction for co-signing a joint letter with 45 activists, urging the Secretary-General to condemn executions in the Islamic Republic of Iran. He presented himself at the prison, was detained and then released shortly thereafter, reportedly on bail. 67.
